Greetings from your Commissioner,
I like to take this moment and thank every one of you for your commitment to our group. It does not matter what role you play, if you are group committee, Leader or parent or youth, your involvement is critical to the success of 2nd Leduc. We are sitting pretty good at the moment and have so many cool and exciting things yet to come this year across the sections. From Oil kings games, Zoo sleepovers to high adventure mountaineering and of course Pacific Jamboree…. no matter if your youth is a beaver, cub, scout or Venture there are exciting things to come.
In saying that Scouts Canada has started to take a new look at the way we plan things. It is called the Canadian Path… basically in a nutshell we want the youth to plan events and come up with unique ideas for scouting. So if you or your youth has any ideas to contribute please be sure to let us know and their ideas can be made a reality very easily. I do have a huge favor to ask each of you. Since we are at the halfway mark in the year I would like to get a health check done on the condition and feeling of the group.
